Dave is a creative producer and singer-songwriter living in Nashville, TN. With over a decade of experience in multimedia storytelling, he has a gift for bridging the gap between creative ideation and technical execution regardless of the medium.
Formally, Dave is trained in video production with a Master’s in Film from Emerson College and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Media & Creative Writing from the University of Miami. As a freelance videographer, Dave served as Executive Producer on the episodic YouTube series, Live Music Society, collected an Emmy Award for his music video-documentary New Year’s Resolution, and produced music video for artists who debuted on Billboard.com. After moving to San Francisco in 2018, Dave joined Density Inc. as an in-house Creative Producer on the Marketing team. At Density, his content and storytelling helped the company grow from 30 people to over 200, receive a billion dollar valuation, raise multiple rounds of venture capital, and deploy two products globally.
Additionally, during that time, Dave has written, recorded, and released original music, while performing in venues all across the country. Some of his favorite shows were played at the 9:30 Club in Washington DC, the Knitting Factory and Rockwood Music Hall in New York City, Starry Plough in Berkeley, CA, and Jammin Java in Vienna, VA. He has shared stages with national touring acts such as The Alternate Routes, Brendan James, Chris Ayer, and Tony Lucca. In 2014, Dave signed a distribution deal with The Orchard, a subsidiary of Sony Music. His debut full-length album Aperture was successfully funded by fans on Kickstarter in 2015, and since then he has continued to release new music independently.
Dave’s passion for storytelling spans genres and avenues, and his is constantly looking for new ways to connect with audiences.
